Gwedna Barns

With delightful views accross open countryside from two acres of pretty lawned gardens, Gwedna Barns is set in a lovely wooded, secluded, rural spot on a non-working farm situated within a World Heritage Site, and consists of four attractive and very comfortable properties that have been tastefully converted, with either individual gardens or seating areas, barbeques available and use of a children's play area.

Gwedna Barns is close to the attractive village of Godolphin Cross in the beautiful West Cornwall countryside. Nearby is Godolphin House, owned by the National Trust, steeped in Cornwall's mining history and one of the county's most magnificent and important houses.

West Cornwall provides some of the finest surfing, fishing and coastal walking in England. Gwedna's peaceful location, roughly halfway between the north and south coast provides easy access to the stunning beaches and coves in the area. The sweeping sands of Gwithian are a 15 minute drive to the north, while Prussia Cove, with its caves, tales of smuggling, and crystal clear water lies five miles to the south. St Michaels Mount, Penzance, The Lizard and picturesque St Ives are all within 20 minutes by car.

The old market town of Helston, with its elegant Georgian town houses, is nearby and the main A30, just a short drive away, provides access to the whole of West Cornwall. Enjoy the laid back surf culture, beautiful countryside, stunning coastal scenes, history, art, fun and friendliness, all to be found in West Cornwall.
